This is my 12th year teaching and I have always taught 4th grade. I’m so excited for all the growth and achievement I know will take place this year. I expect students to work hard and put forth the effort it will take for them to earn grades that make them proud! I believe that students have many talents and abilities to be celebrated. Our differences are what make us strong! My hope is that I can create a spark- something that inspires your child to want to read and learn more everyday. Reading can open endless doors, and should be viewed as an avenue for interest and growth, My goal is to keep students engaged in continuous learning.

Meet Mrs. little
Hi! My name is Lisa Little. This is my 20th year in education and my 7th year here in North Carolina! I am so excited to be back in 4th grade this year. I feel this is a huge year for our students as they transition into middle school. I love being a part of it. I am ready to make the year a success for the newest group of Little Leaders!
I grew up in Salisbury on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and graduated from Salisbury University. I stayed in Maryland and taught middle school for 8 years prior to our move South. In Georgia I taught grades 4-5 and piloted a charter school based on inquiry. That experience drove my love of incorporating collaboration, technology, and project-based learning.
I am married with one son. His name is Quentin, but we call him "Q". He is in 7th grade here at EWA. This will be our first year in different buildings. I wish the 7th grade teachers the best!
In our free time we like to spend time with our dogs, and our family and friends. We love to head to the beach any chance we get! We also have a love for Disney and spend lots of time planning the next trip.
Some of my favorite things:
Color: Navy
Drink: Propel Water, Coffee
Dessert: Cupcakes
Favorite Restaurant: Chipotle
